The GSS25C is a compact and versatile non-contact speed sensor using the radar Doppler principle. There are no switches or potentiometers on the unit. This prevents ingress of water or dust. Dual antennas provide automatic tilt compensation and signal detection redundancy. The GSS25C is simply mounted to the test object in a few seconds using a magnetic holder or suction cup. The sensor can be connected to a data acquisition system via an RS-232 interface or the digital and/or analogue BNC output. Key features are:

Wireless technology allows the mounting of temperature sensors on moving and hard-to-reach installations. For example, our brake disc temperature monitoring systems can be mounted directly on the wheels. Up to 64 sensors can work together in a network. The receiver can be used as a data logger or can forward the data via analogue outputs, CAN or USB. Key features are:

Tire pressure sensors
The tire pressure transmission system is suitable for transmitting pressure values of up to 4 passenger car tires between 0 bar and 5 bar by radio to the receiver box. The output is made both via CAN bus and via USB interface. A complete transmission system consists of 4 transmitters, which are assigned to the corresponding tire positions FL, FR, RL, RR and a receiver with CAN bus interface, USB interface, 9V … 30V DC supply voltage and various LEDs to indicate specific operating conditions.
The steering column sensor was developed for dynamic vehicle tests. The system is powered by the car battery and can be used both in cars and in trucks. The steering wheel is easy to install and practical to use. Direct drive encoders and strain gauge isolated strain gages that provide accurate and reliable data ensure high accuracy. The steering wheel can be connected to the B+S measuring hardware via BNC plugs. Key features are:
- Measurement of steering torque, steering angle, steering angle speed
- Overload protection (about 1000 Nm), constant steering ability guaranteed

The acceleration sensors are precision sensors with one or three axes. Three different types of sensors are available.
General precision acceleration sensors
The one or three axis linear sensors use an extremely small and robust micro-machined capacitive beam as the sensor element. It is kept in force balance for full-scale nonlinearity of less than 0.2%.
Low G acceleration sensors
The low-G accelerometers, available with one or three axes, use a bulk micro-machined three-layer silicon structure as the sensing element. The three layers form a differential capacitor with low noise. It is kept in force balance for full-scale nonlinearity of less than 0.2%. The sensor is connected to a high quality ceramic substrate where it is coupled to signal conditioning electronics. The unit shows superior DC response and low thermal hysteresis.
Broadband vibration sensors
An advanced piezo material, integrated with a charge amplifier as signal conditioning electronics and a current regulator, mounted precisely in easily mountable screw housings make up these vibration sensors. Unlike accelerometers, the piezo sensors have no DC response, so the sensors do not respond to gravity or other very low frequency accelerations. The unique supply electronics make them suitable for both current and voltage operation. The sensor may be powered by a current source using the signal line and the ground, thereby using the signal line as both the excitation source and the sensor signal. A constant current of 0.3 to 20 mA is provided by many older systems, such as signal conditioners or analyzer instruments. An unregulated +5 to +30 V power supply is the other way to operate the sensors.
